  I give up *sniffles*

Okay I give up. I swear I must have put that bag in the Goodwill/Salvation Army haul by mistake, because I can't find it anywhere. Of course I now realize that even if I did go back and asked to see the stuff I dropped off - those guys @ SA/GW will
a) not let me look thru the bags
b) not tell me that someone found a bag of luxury yarn and beads
c) tell me "too bad"

John actually is being very understanding - I hope I didn't make him out to be a monster in the last post. He knew how much work (and $) was in that sack, so he has been trying to console me, and also went and bought me some Lamb's Pride for my Cleaves stash.

I guess I will order tahki cotton from discountyarnsale.com ($33/a bag = 10 skeins - great deal!) and start over.

Thank you to all my knittyheads/knittingcats for your support - love you guys!

I was going to post DuranDuran pics & stuff, but... ...not tonight - I'm distressed...

*sob*

My 2/3 finished Kyoto is MIA!!!!!!!!!

I fear I will have to start over b/c I am missing a whole bag of WIP and random yarn (Kyoto, a poncho for a coworker, 3 finished scarves that I was adding beads and fringe to, and some pull-skeins of mohair) but I dread that I may have forgotten them someplace or thrown it away by mistake over the weekend. (Not to mention 2 Clover circs and a tin of rocaille beads in very-hard-to-find colors - I bought them in 1993 in Montreal, and will probably never be able to find something like them again) I usually carry 1 or 2 WIPs in my JP bag, but these were moved to a bigger duffel-type dealie that I was carrying around, expecting to be navigating longer expanses of free time, more than usual. I did some Salvation Army & GoodWill drops and took garbage out, and moved office supplies around, but I can't seem to retrace where I might have put my stuff down. My first instinct was that I gave it to SA/GW but I've been told nothing like that was found over the weekend in either collection areas. I am sick with that dread like you've lost something really important, but I swear I can't find the bag anywhere - and DH is ragging on me for being so forgetful because I'm a flake.

*a few choice cuss words*

It know it's "only yarn" but I spent hours on all those projects and the yarn, beads and needles are probably over $100 to replace.

I am going to bed. Maybe I will have an epiphany before I wake up and remember where I put that stupid bag. I'll post DD stuff later this week...

Talk to y'all later,
Rox
