And she totally made my day - woohoo
So thank you my dear.

Today's SuperBowl options are making me depressed actually since I saw that my beloved Ben Roethlisberger did a commercial for American Idol and it's the Pats vs. Giants - bleah
*cries*
It's gonna be a total barn burner for sure.
Very little knitting - I did a crocheted skinny scarf last week while waiting in court, and I have a hat & a drop-stitch scarf waiting in the wings when I am not working or doing homework. College is hard!
Did I mention that? LOL Nothing like being that old-ass freshman at 36 teehee.
On a more serious note, the knitting world has lost a gem.
Momma-Monkey aka Gina/Gigi Silva has passed away. Apparently last week, her lupus symptoms had gotten so bad that her pain threshold was beyond recovery, and she left us.
A moment of silence please.
It is so sad, because she was so talented between her Monkey Bags and her lovely Monkey-Toes sock designs - she had legions of fans, including me.
While I did not know her personally, we had some great email & Etsy chat last summer & fall, and she went out of her way to make sure my Monkey Bags were beyond perfect.
Prayers for her family & her Monkey babies.
