Last month, a young girl working at Old Navy ringing my purchase had been wearing a powder blue crocheted sling bag for a square box of tissues...it was so cute & we chatted for several minutes about how she made it, what kind of yarn, etc. She had a terrible cold & apologized for having to blow her nose while ringing me up. I told her it was no problem whatsoever & that I understood. I was just fascinated by the bag - it was TOO CUTE.
Well, ever since then I had been mulling it over how to make one of my own...and I came up with this when I got home from work last night. I have a nasty cold/flu thing going that started yesterday & I had been keeping my pockets & sleeves stuffed with tissues & napkins to keep them handy. Til now. :^)
This took me 2 hours to make (after frogging 3 times about 2 inches in) but it's the fastest I've ever cranked out an item. Go me!
